Waste Stewardship

is an impact driven approach to revolutionizing waste management.

Let’s start with some context.

In the early 2000s, zero waste concepts were just becoming part of academic discussions on sustainability. Twenty years later, it is a top concern for everyone from everyday people to CEOs and national leadership.

Company President Shavila Singh founded Zero Waste Solutions as an outlier with a purpose.

Our approach.

We start by accepting one critical thing: solid waste created by humans is a permanent aspect of our global ecosystem. And as John Muir noted - the components of all ecosystems (large or small) are linked—action upon any component is felt throughout the entire system.

“When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.”
― John Muir

This interconnectivity is why our processes emphasize research, strategy, and customization. Zero Waste Solutions takes care while creating our Zero Waste Programs for Waste Management and Net Zero Programs for Facilities and Operations + Maintenance in the federal space.

We do more than manage solid waste - we process it responsibly.

Responsible and informed action over here will impact our shared ecological systems over there. Action within the global ecology ripples outward, having the highest impact right where the action occurs. From that center, the impact expands, losing force as the distance from the center increases.

When you and others implement Zero Waste Programs, you are making a positive impact on those around you. And that action is improving the health of our global well-being.

By implementing Zero Waste Solutions' strategic programs, our clients reduce their carbon footprint and have a net-positive impact. Locally and beyond.
