Zero Waste Solutions manages the ISWM Program at a military base, and has successfully diverted 43.3% of our client’s refuse, which was destined for landfills for the month of September 2011.

What does this mean for our Client? – A return of approximately $15,000 in recycling proceeds, not to mention a savings in landfill disposal fees.

ZWS has spearheaded the effort to educate the base population through presentations that emphasize the 3Rs, Reduce, Refuse, and Recycle. We made great strides in expanding the food waste program, and arranging the recycling of variety of materials, including glass, scrap metal, mattresses, printer toner, cardboard, aluminum, plastic bottles, and office and mixed paper.
