Environmental Awareness

The success of any environmental or waste reduction initiative is largely dependent on the knowledge and awareness pertaining to the initiatives. For example, in order to run a successful recycling program, it is imperative that all employees are aware of what materials can be recycled, where the materials can be placed in order to ensure they are picked up for recycling, and what are the issues in terms of contamination of materials and other factors. Once this awareness is created, recycling becomes a part of everyday activities for employees and all involved.
