Document Destruction
This is the destruction of confidential documents generated in the course of business. Total security is provided by lockable containers, which make it convenient to safely store sensitive materials until the destruction of the materials takes place. This can be undertaken either onsite at your company's premises or offsite at a secure shredding facility. Document destruction provides secure information disposal. Various local, state and federal laws exist pertaining to the security of sensitive and confidential data especially with regards to client records. The FACTA (Fair & Accurate Transactions Act) which was signed on June 1, 2005, stipulates that employers must destroy personal information about their employees before they throw it out. That means "shredding or burning" paper documents or "smashing or wiping" computer disks.
